Old World Spirits / Kuchan Cellars is a San Francisco area based, Kuchan family owned artisanal distillery and winery. Started by Davorin Kuchan, a Croatian-born third generation winemaker and master distiller, Old World Spirits is dedicated producing world class artisanal spirits and alcoholic beverages. A Silicon Valley veteran and a Berkeley Haas graduate, Davorin grew up running around family vineyards and subsequently studied distillation at Michigan State under Prof. Dr. Chris Berglund, one of the driving forces behind Craft Distillation revolution in United States today.

Old World Spirits is conveniently located off of Highway 101, mid San Francisco peninsula in Belmont, California. Using Kuchan-designed and German-manufactured superior distillation equipment, Old World Spirits is able to create worlds finest spirits by paying attention to every detail and not cutting corners to make profit.

Our mission is to reach beyond cheap, corporate, industrial ‘booze’ and win one fan of superior artisanal spirits at a time. We invite you to visit us and see our production, our ingredients and meet people behind the scenes as we believe that no producer should refuse the same. We use no artificial extracts and no flavorings. We are CCOF Organically Certified and believe in reducing carbon footprint, reuse and supporting local farmers and suppliers.
